I'm the new owner of a BZ482 in a Cal 25 MkII. Does anyone have estimated fuel consumption data for this engine? I realize that numerous variables will affect actual consumption, but some general gph numbers (if available) would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is the ULSD ok to use in a new Beta diesel? I do not know if this is what they are selling at the marinas, but I occassionally get boat fuel where I get my auto diesel fuel and I know this is the ULSD. Brad

I am considering repowering with BD1005 replacing the Volvo MD2B in my English Built Rival 34. I have been told that the BD1005 may replace the Volvo with no changes to the current footprint of the engine bed. Do you have any suggestions or will there be any specific challenges.

Does Betamarine make a control panel cover, similar to the type used to cover knotmeter, depthfinder etc. for the type "C" panel. I would ike to protect the panel from the elements when not aboard. Thanks for your help. Mike B

I was wondering if anybody else has this problem. We cruse our Beta 13.5 hp at about 2400RPM. This will put us to just about hull speed assuming we're not bucking into a chop. If we push the engine up to 2800rpm then we start getting a prop wash noise. The max engine RPM that we can push is 3250 and t...
