hi i was looking for a 2gm yanmar running or not ith the kanzaki transmisssion mine doesn't have the reverse working and it just came out of shop no help from mechanic .. hoping i could find a spare.. boat is in panhandle of florida thanks john 970-630-2325

I am considering replacing my 25 year old Yanamr 2GM, with a new Beta BD722. My boat is a 30' Seafarer, (book disp. 8600lbs, crane said 10,000 bs loaded) A couple of questions: 1. Have you married a Beta 43 to a Volvo saildrive before? I have a friend who considering the exchange his existing Volvo 43T, for a Beta 43, but wants to use the existing saildrive. Is this economically feasible?
