Head Bolts on BD1005

I was wondering if it is necessary to retorque the head bolts on my BD1005 after it's initial season (about 50 hours) according to some bolt sequence.

It is not necessary to re-torque the cylinder head on these engines. The modern gasket materials and machining tolerances are a world apart from the older engines that we grew up with. I do suggest checking the valve clearances at your 1,000 hour service.

regards, Stanley
