I am considering a Beta 16 as a replacement for a late 1960s Volvo MD1. How close is the footprint? This is in an Elizabethan 29 built by Wauquiez in 1967.
The information I have available on the Volvo-Penta MD1 (6hp) shows that the width between the mounting centers of the feet, port to starboard, is 11.5" please confirm this physically by measuring your engine bed.
This means that you can utilize our engines from 10hp thru 28HP (includes the Beta 16) that utilize Atomic 4 mounting feet.
