Beta 16 gearbox

I am considering a Beta 16 purchase.  I see the possibility of two different gearbox choices.  The TMC40 and PRM80.  The 2:1 ratio seems to be the ideal according to my use of the prop calculator.  What are the differences/advantages (features and benefits) of these?

In use there will be no difference between the PRM80 and TMC40, they are both mechanical transmissions and both have proven to be very reliable in service.

Physically the PRM80 is larger and can handle more power.  We use the PRM80 on engines up to 35HP.  The TMC40 is used on engines up to 28HP.

The PRM80 is manufactured in the United Kingdom by Newage, the TMC40 is manufactured in Italy by Technodrive which is a Twin Disc company, an American corporation.

For the Beta16, the TMC40 is more than adequate.
