Winterizing the BD1005

Stanley,

I want to winterize my Beta BD1005 myself...I've changed the oil and filter...I have the manual about closing the raw water sea**** and placing the intake hose into a bucket of pink antifreeze...letting the engine run until the pink stuff starts to exit the exhaust...

My question is about the fresh water procedure......  would you be able to give me a step by step explanation...

                             Thanks, Markconfuse.gif

The fresh water system should have anti-freeze coolant in it and should not need any attention. Depending on the type of antifreeze used, you should change it every 3 to 5 years.
