I'm thinking of purchasing the split charge/ regulator set-up with my 1505. Can you explain how the system works, is it the same as buying the Balmar Duo-Charge($250) and ARS-5 Regulator ($300)? Thanks for the info...Bud pointed me your way!confuse

Our split charge system is different to the Balmar duo charge. It works with the standard engine alternator and regulator and allows for separate engine and house batteries to be used without affecting each other while both receive a good charge. I have attached the spec sheet.
