The PSS sounds like the way to go...they are advising (On a Catalina 30) to connect a T in the raw water inlet for a water line to go to the vent connection on the PSS due to air bubbles in the stern tube on these Catalinas.
Question: Will this (i think its 1/4" line off the T) in anyway affect the performance of the new Beta 20 that I am installing...
IS this the best way to alleviate this issue.....(other than not using a PSS) or is there another alternative or location to put in a T to feed water to the PSS?
Hello Jamie, The PSS is a good bit of equipment and should work just fine for you. I suggest that you fit the water take off for the PSS to the hose that goes from the anti-siphon valve to the exhaust elbow injection point. Stanley
Thanks for the advice,..I ended up talking to a technician at PSS (PYI) and was advised all I needed in this application is a vent line ran up higher than the water line...We are now doing some checking on a "Hydronic Air Vent" to attach at the vent end of the hose... thx Jamie
