Hey ...quick quest...any ideas to check why me new beta 20 wont start..has about 60hrs on it and last ran in Jan....

Was going to remove teh fuel return and use fuel hand pump to ensure fuel...change filters and try again...

Fuel is good with stabilizer additives - and was full all season, and the boat / cabin and engine space is heated all season too (didnt get too cold here anyway)....

Any other ideas why she wont start??

what happens when you try to start it? does it turn over? is it totally dead?

Assuming it is turning over and the battery is good, the fuel is OK, I'd say you got air in your fuel line. Try bleeding it

It was the air filter!...was very surprised how diry it was...for minimal use ...and how the minimal amount of dustyness...affected the engine start!....the fuel and all other things were great..as soon as the new filter was in it worked beautifully!!....

 

Do you guys sell air filters?....rate?
