Hello. Last year, I installed a Beta 16 in my Tartan 30. I've been using the old prop but I can't get up to full RPM so it is time for a propperly sized prop.
Because the prop shaft comes out the back of the keel on the Tartan, the prop cannot be larger than 10 inches in diameter. What do you think the right pitch should be for a 10 inch diameter?
Usually a 12" propeller can be fitted to a T30. I suggest that you speak to General Propeller (800) 282 3181. Let them work out the prop sizing for you and dont forget to ask for the discount for Beta Marine customers.
