Does anyone know the model number VDO Tach used in the BV-1505 with the "C" panel.

My current tach has stopped displaying the engine hours.

This is my second tach, as the original was replaced at 10 hrs due to erratic rpm display.

VDO used to supply Beta Marine with the VDO Oceanline tachs but about 2 1/2 years ago they suddenly started supplying the VDO Viewline tachs which have completely different wiring. When we supply a new tach to replace an older model, we have to provide a wiring diagram and some wiring pigtails to get it to work.

Could you supply me with the wiring diagrams for both tachs so I can trouble shoot the problem?

I am not sure which I have and am not certain whether the problem is the tach or in the wiring.
