I am replacing a westerbeke 33 on a Sabre 38 mk 1. lwl 31.5 , dis 15500 , beam 11.5 . So far the Beta recomindations have been for a 30 or 35. If at all possable I would like to save my Campbell prop which is a rh 15x 8 with cupped blades. hull speed is calc at 7.5

Hello ssfein,

The Beta 38 will be a fine engine for the Sabre 38. The 15" Campbell prop may not have the blade area for best performance.
