which electric fuel pump

Hi,

Well first off it is great news that you have the touch up paint with a brush!
The spray cans are messy!

In another post (bypassing mechanical lift pump + touch-up paint ) you stated you sold an electric fuel pump.

We have a 38 hp Beta and we installed a diesel pup for back up bleeding and found out it has too much PSI. That it could damage the fuel pump in the engine. I think it is 4 5 psi. Any way we were thinking of using it to polish the fuel. We did install a ball pump and that works fine. Still though we could be interested in the electric diesel pump for our gravity fed fuel system. I looked on your web site but did not see one for sail. Could you point me in the right url direction please?

Thanks,

Chip

Please excuse my ignorance but why would you want an electric pump on a gravity fed system?

We use a low pressure Facet electric pump and we keep these in inventory. These are not shown on our website.

Hi,

Good point. Guess I did not want to miss out on anything.

I thought it may be useful in an emergency at sea, for priming. When we use the bulb or the engine priming pump we need to pum from the bilge, that is where our Beta 38 is up to the ****pit sole, where our the fuel line goes into the top of the fuel tank (under the sole). Just though an electric pump could be of benefit?

Thanks,

Chip
