Slight oil weep from fitting in oil drain hose

While putting away my one-season-old Beta 38 for the winter, I noticed a slight oil weep from what looks like a fitting in the hose from the oil drain pump to the oil pan drain fitting. There was no evidence of leakage from the drain pump or the hose attachment to it, and none from the oil pan fitting. Other than just mechanical support for the hose, is there a break and fitting in the middle of the hose run? Any experience with weepage here; more likely something in the fitting connection or in one of the hose attachments?

Hello Blue Moon, Welcome to the forum.

The Beta factory does not install any fitting in the hose between the oil pump and oil pan fitting. This was probably installed during or after install.
