Beta 35 Oil Sump Pump

The oil sump pump on my 2 1/2 year old Beta 35 stopped working.  Is there a repair kit for these pumps, or do I need to purchase a new one?  Seems like they should work for longer than a few oil changes.

You are correct. These pumps are not perfect and should last much longer.
Please return the faulty one to us and we will replace it for you.

Thanks,  I'll remove it after I get hauled out for the winter.  Maybe I will just find that something came loose inside the pump.

When removing the pump from the engine I discovered that the lower fitting was loose, so the pump was just sucking air.  Pump works OK after tightening everything up.
