Proper Steps to Troubleshoot Engine Panel

Current state of Panel:

Fast beeping but no gauge activity

Motor starts and runs fine

Stop Button inoperative

Beeping stops when I raise RPM a bit

I have connected 12V to stop solenoid and it functions.

Connecting wires behind button does not stop motor

What are proper steps to restore gauges and stop Button?

no gauge activity >>> Check the ground wire to the engine. The gauges need a panel ground. The start , stop and glow plug functions do not.

Stop Button inoperative -- Connecting wires behind button does not stop motor -- I have connected 12V to stop solenoid and it functions >>> Check the white/black wire between the panel and stop solenoid for continuity.

Beeping stops when I raise RPM a bit >>> Check that idle RPM is 860 RPM minimum.

Call the office if you have any more questions.
