Any one with any operating experience with the BV3800. I am considering a purchase and would like to know of any inherent problems this engine may have.
I appologise for the delay in replying to you. We have only sold about 10 of this particular engine here so far and I was hoping that one of those owners would check this board. We do have 2 more on order for customers. I was involved with the installation of two of these engines and both started instantly, ran quietly and produce plenty of power. We have had no issue at all with these engines and I expect them to give simmilar service to any of the larger diesels that we do. That is I do not expect to see the inside of one of these engines before it has done at least 15,000 hours.
