I have the 722 engine with the 40 amp alternator and I have a problem with alternator light and buzzer coming on and staying on. According to my amp meter, the alternator is working OK but alarms will not shut down.

I have the Beta oil change kit, but it came without any mounting directions. All of the photos show it mounted to the fuel filter bracket. Looks great, but there are no mounting holes in the bracket. I'm installing a Beta 28 and in this process changing location of battery and switch. I will now have a run of 33ft (total Pos and Neg cable). I'm uncertain how many amps the starter motor draws and therefore the size of battery cable required for the connection. Any help on this topic? Thank you.

Stanley, I believe you at Pine Island Marina in Groton and saw my Sabre 28 that is being re-powered with a beta 14. I would like to put a speedseal on the water pump to make replacing the impeller easier. do you know if that can be done?
