Hello All It would be great to get some advice with stopping corrosion and painting my Beta 10. DOes anyone know the best method for this. And can anyone tell me what colour the beta red is. recently I was pulling up to my mooring at low RPMs and the engine had a lot of vibration,then it stalled when I tried to start it I got nothing but warning lights etc the usal when the engine doesnt start,it clicked and then buzzers but never turned over at all ,any one have exsperiance with this.-batt...

This boat was originally powered by a Volvo 15hp inboard diesel. The P.O. replaced that with a Yanmar 1GM10. What prop and Beta engine do you advise? I think the shaft might be metric. Is that an issue? Lawson

Exhaust installation diagram shows a 'tube' leaving the top of the siphon break.... Is this necessary? if so... does someone have more details?What size muffler is best for installation with the beta 14? Is bigger better?Is there a more detailed diagram or photo available showing the new hose co...

I just purchased a boat with a 2002 BV 1506 Beta Marine engine. The alternator appears to have a chronic slip problem. I adjust it, then it works for a couple of trips and then I have problems again. Any thoughts?
