CAL 27 T2 1970's

I have an older Cal 27 T2 with an engine that is long gone. I am looking for for a recomendation on a replacement. I think it was an Atomic 4.

Hi,

You have a great boat with a very easily driven hull. The BZ482 (Beta 14) with the TMC40 transmission is the perfect engine for the Cal 2-27 and 2-29. It will give you plenty of power with a very economical cruise of about one gallon of diesel used per hour. This engine can be provided on mounts that fit where the hard bolted Atomic 4 was bolted to and the transmission coupling will line up with the shaft. You will need to replace your propeller to get the full power out of the diesel.

Here is a link to the correct page on our website http://www.betamarinenc.com/bz482_atomic.htm

You can email me directly to get pricing and a freight quote (please let me have the ship to zip code for this). stan@betamarinenc.com

Regards, Stanley

I appologise, I made a typo in my last post. The BZ482 (Beta 14) will use one gallon of diesel every 4 hour to 5 hours, not every hour as noted in my post yesterday.
