I am thinking about adding a coolant recovery reservoir to my 28 hp Beta diesel. Does the height of the reservior make a difference, ie above or below the level of the coolant tank cap?

Hello Brad, This system will work better if the resevoir is at the same height as the coolant pressure cap on the engine.
