Handbook/manual

Hi
I have this week installed a Beta25 connected to a Volvo saildrive 120S. When I read the installation manual when filling the cooling system (page 10)  it says that you should:

" b) Check that the drain tap or plug is turned off. (see fig 2l)
(Note BZ482 and B10 engines with sump drain pump are fitted
with a plug)."

I didn't find any drain tap as it shows at picture 2l and it's look that this drain tap is below the injection pump and at my engine there is no tap placed there.
Is there wrong in the manual or....?
regards
Jan

Hello Jan,

Some of the smaller engines dont have a coolant drain tap. The reason for this is that when special mounts are made up (such as special saildrive installations or atomic 4 replacements) they interfere with the drain valve so this gets replaced with a plug.

Regards, Stanley
