Alignment to 120S drive

Hello Stanley
I have already fitted the drive to the engine and the boat is in the sea but is there any measurement of the ideal height or level for the engine when you mount it?
I have  just fit it so it's look correct from front side of the engine and also that the drive looks to be at a correct alignment through the boat and under the boat.
But this is only visual and I asked the the Beta representative here in Sweden and he didn't know.

Hello Jan,

The saildrive and its rear mount will govern the position of the engine. Basically the rubber diaphram gasket must be fitted to the saildrive and the bed without distortion to ensure the whole engine /saildrive package works well in future years. When this is achieved, you will have the engine is the correct position.
Regards, Stanley
