The idling rpm

Hi
I should like to get the idling rpm lower than standard for the Beta 25 I have.
Today it is around 950rpm according to the instrument.

950 is correct for these engines. They are not designed to idle slower.

The new problem with the idling rpm

Hi Stanley
I still have problems with the idling rpm.Last season the rpm go over 1000 and that creates a metallic sound from the saildrive wich is because the engine run to fast, so please give me a solution to decrease the rpm so my saildrive doesn´t crash.
