I upgraded my alternator by going to a junkyard and getting a nippondensa 121000-4450 136 amp alternater. with a little work on the pulley and a .3 inch shim on the lower bolt it fits on the engine. it takes a longer belt and a external regulater. Don't forget heavier wiring but if you had a hundred amp iskra you already burnt up the factory wire anyway. This cost me $40 and a little sweat and a new one is $175 email me for instructions and pictures of how to if you like the idea.
