Is the Beta 43 V2003 a Tier 2 compliant engine?  Also, how do the current Beta Marine diesels differ from those produced ten years ago in terms of fuel usage and emissions?

Hello Hanoah,

Welcome to the forum.

The Beta 43 meets the latest EPA Tier 4 emissions compliance. This is true of all Beta engines that we offer.

The new technology used in today's Tier 4 diesel engine provides a much cleaner burning engine when compared to the Tier 2 engine.

These cleaner burning engines are also a bit more fuel efficent.
