Beta 14 water pump leak

I just replaced the impeller in my Beta 14, which failed after I ran engine with sea water valve closed (not long enough for alarm to go off, but long enough to fry the impeller).

After running the engine, I've got a water leak from the underside of the pump.  It didn't seem to leak while running, but quite a bit after I shut the engine down.  I assume this indicates that the shaft seal was damaged by heat.

I'd like to know my options.

Where could I purchase a replacement water pump?  What does it cost?

Can I replace the shaft seal myself?  Where can I get it?  Is there likely to be damage to something in addition to the shaft seal, that also should be replaced?  Is there some sort of rebuild kit for the pump?

Thanks for any advice and information.

-Steve

Hello Steve and welcome to the forum.

The seal is replaceable and all individual parts are available for which ever pump is fitted to your engine. Please let us know the woc# of your engine when ordering parts.
If you have lost some blades from the impeller you need to get these parts out as they can cause a blockage and possible running hot.
