Beta 38 Drive Belt Replacement Schedule

Hello...looking for the recommended replacement schedule for the drive belt(s).  The Operators Manual instructs on the maintenance - daily or every 8 hours - yet does not list a recommended replacement schedule.  Help!?  Thank you, Chip

I would recommend replacement every 3-4 years.

Would you recommend the same interval for replacement of the flat belt on our new Beta 25?

Is there any routine way to access this type of belt for wear. It does not look like it has enough 'bulk' to shed particles of carbon like the V-belt on our previous engine. (I stopped that previous problem by changing the brand and type of belt, after some research. Alignment was not a problem for that particular engine, luckily.)

The flat serpentine type belts are far superior to the V belts and tend to last much longer. Most times they do not appear to actually wear out but I have a very hard time leaving a belt on until it actually breaks and lets you down., hence the recommendation to replace every 3 or 4 years.
