I see that prior to Dec 2005 there was a side mount available for the on engine fuel 5 micron filter. For some unknown, to me, reason the previous owner removed the on engine filter. I think it may have been due to a problem with the design of the companionway steps being too close. I have a 10 micron primary Racor attached to the engine compartment bulkhead.
In any event I want to put the filter back and it might be that a side mount would fit better.
Is that side mount still available and would it still attach to a post 2005 engine.
