Beta 16 cruising RPM

I see in the manual that the engine output is rated at 3600 rpm. I have reviewed the prop selection with my dealer and I think that everything is good. What is the optimal engine speed (rpm) when cruising, to maximize engine life and minimize maintenance? I generally run at 3000 rpm.

Thank you.

You can run this engine at any speed throughout its rev range quite safely so a normal cruise speed of between 2,000 and 3,100RPM is just fine for continuous running.
Please make sure that you change the engine oil and filter at least once a year, even if you only do 50 hours a year.
