Shifter Cable Specs Needed

Hello -

We have a Beta Marine 38hp diesel with a Techodrive TMC 60M transmission.  Looks like the shifter cable is corroding so we need to replace it. We are currently in La Paz BCS so we need the specs to be as specific as possible in order for us to find a replacement.  We'd rather have the new one before we take out the old one.

Thank you, in advance!

Take a look and get a rough measurement And you may want to change both cables while you're doing this one. Sometimes you can use a barrel nut to connect the new to the old and pull them through that way after you cut zip ties for whatever fasteners you find along the way.

A dedicated islander board will have specific info for your boat model, but definitely take your own measurements

The standard Beta Marine engine and transmission connection uses a Morse 33c type cable end with a 10/32 thread .
