BV-1505 Specs

Could you list for me the specs for the BV-1505?

Brake HP at rpm?

Governor rpm?

Thanks for the help.

Mike,

You will find all the information on our web site on the following page

http://www.betamarinenc.com/bv1505.htm

You will also find the information in your owners manual.
What is it you are trying to work out?

Bob.

Good morning Bob,

I am talking to Michigan Wheel re the prop I have and they wanted the

engine specs.

The repower is under way and I have not yet gotten the manuals

from the yard.

Thank you for your help.

Can't wait to get back on board.

Bob,

I went to the link you posted and it shows the hp@3000rpm as 37.5

and 3600rpm followed by a dash.

Is 3600rpm the governored speed?

Mike,

The BV1505 is a 3,000 RPM max. engine.  The dash next to 3,600 is because it is not rated at those RPM's

For the purpose of Prop calculations, work on 3,000 RPM max. as the governed RPM's

Bob.

I put in a BV1505 this past Spring. I worked fantastically for me this summer for my trip of 1800 miles and 300 engine hours. It was much quieter than my old Volvo engine mostly, I think because it is isolated from the boat with rubber engine mounts, and also because it is 4 cylinders as opposed to 3 with my old engine.

GOOD LUCK!
