Zinc anodes and o-rings

I am looking for information on parts for the "new" Beta 25 diesel.

1. Does anyone know the thread diameter for the zinc anode and the length of the anode on the heat exchanger? Would like to have a new anode ready when I check the old one.

2. What is the diameter of the o-rings for the heat exchanger? Would like to have a few spare o-rings just in case.

love my Beta,

Bob

Hello Bob,

These parts are exactly the same as those for the rest of the engine range. We have the zincs in stock (Camp # E-OB) and these zincs have 1/4" thread and they are 3/4" long.

The heat exchanger "O" rings are also in stock and these are special nitrile "O" rings. It is possible to re-use the old ones if you dont damage them when you prise them out. Merely coat them with some vaseline before re-installing them. Please note that the slot on the tube stack faces the rear of the engine (transmission end) when you refit the tube stack. It is wise, however, to have a pair of "O" rings handy just in case. Please contact us and we can send them out to you by mail or you can contact any of our dealers as they should have these parts in stock.

Regards, Stanley

thanks Stanley,

I will be able to obtain the zinc anodes locally as they appear to be a standard size. I'll will hold off for now for the heat exchanger o-rings.

Very happy with my baby Beta,

Bob
