If you have followed the instruction in the 'Operators Maintenance Manual' you have done all you need to. The only additional item I might suggest is to remove the Raw Water pump Impeller and smear it with petrolum jelly (Vaseline). Do not replace the impeller until the spring, this will prevent the blades taking on a 'set' and keep them supple.
Don't worry about starting in the spring, diesel fuel itself acts a lubricant and the engine oil will circulate immediately upon cranking the engine.
