I am considering a Beta 16 purchase. I see the possibility of two different gearbox choices. The TMC40 and PRM80. The 2:1 ratio seems to be the ideal according to my use of the prop calculator. What are the differences/advantages (features and benefits) of these?

Hi All- I have a 1505 with the 100 amp alternator that I am trying to connect a Balmar ARS-5 regulator to- has anyone connected up a Balmar regulator to the 100 amp alternator, and if so, which terminal is the field terminal? Thanks! John
