Pedestal Mount Single Lever Control

I will be installing my new BD1005 this spring. I would like to move to a single lever control, in particular on that mounts on the steering pedestal. Many of the newer French sailboats are equipped this way.

I have not been able to find a pedestal mounted control unit. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Mike

Hello Mike,

We do keep a Teleflex marine side mount engine control in stock. This is very common on many European boats and is designed to be mounted on the side of the cockpit and I have attached a photo of it. This is a superb control and is easy to set up. It is made in one of the morse Teleflex facilities in Sweden.

Some of the steering component manufacturers make a pedestal mount for it (Edson is one in the US.).

Here is a link to the page on the Teleflex site which shows the manual for this particular control  http://www.downloadingfiles.co.uk/teleflexfiles/library/instructionmanuals/CH2100.pdf

I hope that this helps you.
Regards,
Stanley

Thanks for the quick reply, something like the Edson is indeed what I am looking for although the price is prohibitive.
