I have had some overheating issues with our beta 25, and I suspect it has something to do with the fresh water system. The fresh water system includes a calorifier and there is a tube that T's off one of the calorifier hoses to the outside. Is this a standard way to install this engine, or could this lead to difficulties? It is not uncommom to fire up the engine and then have coolant drip from this tube to the exterior.
This sounds very strange to say the least. The coolant circuit is a closed system and shouldn't leak out at all. I will assume that you are in the UK. What part?
Can you possible make a drawing of the hose connections for the calorifier circuit and post it. This way I am in a better position to advise you. Stanley
