The Beta number is 21108132 and we live in Mexico so getting parts shipped is chancy and expensive. Is there a NAPA or other common brand I can use to replace my dirty element?

Hi all! I have a 45ft narrow boat powered by a 38HP Beta Marine. Goes a dream, but when I turn the engine off the panel bleeps and the two battery lights and all oil light are illuminated. I am thinking of replacing the Volvo Penta MD2 that is powering our 1972 Bristol 30. The boat mainly came with an Atomic 4, but this one was fitted with the Volvo. Parts are really getting hard to come by and I was wondering about which Beta to replace it with and mounting considerations. Thanks... -- Ed...

We have a Beta 60, new last year, which now has 320 hours on it. When running flat out, at full rpm, engine temperature is just under 90 deg, but the alarm does not sound. We are in Norway with sea water temperature around 3 degrees, which make me worry about what will happen in warm water. The water flow fr...

The fuel pump bleed screw on my bv1505 will not tighten and as result it leaks. The screw does not appear to be damaged so I guess it must be the filter housing. Before ordering a new part I would like to be sure that it is not a lack of understanding on my part -- Edited by Mike on Wednesday 29th of April 2015...
